This clifftop walk starts at Trevone beach cafe who do the best coffee I’ve had in Cornwall! I enjoy coming here as a dog walker because once you get past the Trevone blow hole there is a wide open field great for dogs to have a run around on before carrying on along the cliff top towards Stepper Point at the mouth of the Camel Estuary. Before heading back to Trevone you’ll find yourself in the idyllic Hawker’s cove where the Padstow lifeboat station used to be launched.

This makes the perfect halfway point on a doggy daycare hike because there is a small tea garden there to grab a snack and then head into the cove to let the pups play in the sand and water. The fastest route back is via the lanes but I often just go back along the cliffs.
