Terms and Conditions for Self-Employed Staff of Waggers Pack, owned by Oliver Jarvis, a Dog Walking Company in the UK
Introduction
These terms and conditions outline the agreement between the self-employed staff ("you") and Waggers Pack, owned by Oliver Jarvis ("we" or "us"). By accepting a contract or working with us, you agree to these terms and conditions in their entirety.
Self-Employment
You are self-employed and operate as a sole trader, and therefore responsible for your own taxes and national insurance contributions. You are free to work for other clients or businesses. You are responsible for your own insurance cover for public liability and professional indemnity, including any injury or damage that may occur during your work with us.
Duties
You will provide dog walking services to our clients as directed by us. You agree to follow our policies and procedures, and to always provide a high level of care and attention to the dogs in your care. You will use our branded uniform and represent us in a professional manner.
Confidentiality
You agree that any personal information provided by our clients or obtained by you during the course of your work is strictly confidential and will not be used for any personal gain. This includes but is not limited to contact details, addresses, and any other sensitive information. You will not use this information while you are still contracted with us or after you have left our employment to solicit our clients for services or to use for any competing business.
Non-Competition
You agree that you will not compete with Waggers Pack or any other business owned by Oliver Jarvis while you are still contracted with us. After your contract has ended, you may compete with Waggers Pack or any other business owned by Oliver Jarvis. However, you agree that you will not use any of our client information obtained during your contract to solicit our clients for services or to use for any competing business.
Termination
We reserve the right to terminate your contract at any time with immediate effect if you fail to comply with these terms and conditions, or for any other reason. You also have the right to terminate your contract at any time with written notice of two weeks.
Governing Law
These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these terms and conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
By working with us, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to these terms and conditions.
