Whilst primarily a woodland Davidstow is right on Bodmin moor on an old WW2 airfield. This makes it a go to for a dog walker as it still has concrete for most of the paths meaning you are unlikely to get muddy. This however, doesn’t extend to any dogs you might happen to have with you as they can explore the wood and it’s many smells, ditches and of course puddles!
